Position Details

The Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instruction in speech, including courses in Oral Communication and Speech for Business and the Professions.

Responsibilities include:

1.  Create syllabus and course related materials.

2.  Teach course(s) according to departmental guidelines.

3.  Be able to provide meeting times for students outside of class.

4.  Complete course grading and submit final grades through the on-line system.

The successful candidate will have:

1.  Master's degree or doctorate in Speech or Communication; or terminal degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech or Communication.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available.  Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
