Position Summary

Gannon University’s Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach in traditional areas of speech-language pathology for the graduate speech-language pathology program and the undergraduate program in communication sciences and disorders in Erie, Pennsylvania. Candidates with expertise in the following advanced topics are encouraged to apply: Motor Speech Disorders, Dysphagia, Voice Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Hearing Disorders and Aural Rehabilitation. Successful candidates for teaching should have (1) have a master’s degree; preferably a higher degree such as PhD, Ed.D., or AuD. (2) demonstrate excellence in teaching, (3) have some experience using technology in teaching, and (4) must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.

For clinical supervision, candidates should have a master’s in speech-language pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), a minimum of one year of post-certification clinical experience, and completed at least 2 hours or professional development in the area of clinical supervision/education. Candidates may have experience in adult and pediatric populations.

Candidates need to submit only one application for teaching, clinical supervision, and/or interest in both areas. Remote teaching will be considered for undergraduate and graduate programs.

Required Qualifications

For teaching, candidates require at least a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline (Communication Sciences and Disorders, Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology) with teaching or professional experience. For clinical supervision, candidates must have a Master’s in Speech-language pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), minimum of one year post-certification experience, and completed at least 2 hours or professional development in the area of clinical supervision/education

PhD or Ed.D.
Prior experience with supervision of graduate students
