Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a physician with subspecialty training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) to join our Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, SUNY. Our partners include Kaleida Health and specifically the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, a recently built hospital with new operating and delivery facilities that is adjacent to the new medical school building on the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus. UB is a top-tier academic institution, situated across 3 campuses with faculty engaged in transformational patient care, education, and medical research.

The successful applicant will be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed a formal fellowship in PAG.

In this position you will be expected to

  • possess excellent clinical skills,
  • provide the highest quality of patient care
  • demonstrate a capability, interest, and enthusiasm for teaching medical students and training residents.

Our residency has 36 categorical positions, 9 at each year. Our goal is to increase our patient care in PAG and develop a Division of PAG. Involvement in clinical research is encouraged, and there are many opportunities for interdisciplinary research within the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and the larger University at Buffalo community.
