Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of human capital management, and the ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters effectively.

HR functions include, recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and performance management. This role supports a diverse workforce, including food and beverage, hospitality, administrative, non-profit community service, charitable fraternity and facilities personnel. On-site presence required; may include evenings/weekends based on club events or staffing needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in human resources management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of talent management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and applicant tracking systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on interpersonal relations.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee HR initiatives effectively.
• Experience with payroll systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.
• Strong analytical skills for data collection and reporting purposes
• Administrative experience in an HR setting is advantageous.

• PHR or SPHR preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
